What is the Everforest game? (And how does a game plant real trees?)

EverForest is a free-to-play mobile merge and idle game where you grow flourishing forests in-game and in the real-world, too.

In-game, you’ll grow “plantables” (trees, flowers, shrubs, sea plants, etc.) and they’ll create special items for you that are produced even while you’re away from the game. Collect those items and merge them to give to the animal friends you meet! As you fulfill animal wishes and unfold their stories, your forests will flourish and you’ll enjoy a beautiful, diverse, connected ecosystem. To plant trees in the real world as you play, you can make purchases in-game, watch ads… and wait to be in the right place at the right time for unexpected real-tree rewards.
